We tend to identify, value, and sort ourselves in terms of our "position" - be it our particular viewpoint, our status in society, our placement in the company, or our financial situation. Yet it seems no one is ever happy with their position. We're ever jockeying for position in an effort to better our position.

Many Christians live frustrated by trying - and failing - to become like Jesus. Paul asserts: stop “trying” to do what Jesus has already done. He suggests that it’s when we give up - not try harder - that we’ll find ourselves doing (and walking and talking and thinking) like Jesus, quite naturally.
